Thanks to The Purl Bee for posting a short interview with Kathy Merrick. Kathy designed Babette and offers a tutorial on seaming the squares together. Now, I'm inspired to get going on mine again--just have to figure out what neutral color to use.
Happy Sunday, I hope you are enjoying the weekend. Mine has been nice so far. My birthday was Friday and I received nice presents, a great Italian dinner and yummy desserts.
Saturday, I was lazy and didn't do most of chores that needed to be finished. Thus, my good progress report on Babette. The plan of working the largest squares first is going great! There are only 3 six-round squares left and then I can move to 45 of the four-round squares. I'm also weaving in the ends on each finished square so there won't be that mess to clean up later.
