I plan to have two posts today. I still have more photos to download and process before the knitting-related post is ready. The harder post needs to be go done first, though.
Last Wednesday, our cat Oreo died quietly in her sleep. She was 17 years old and had faded quickly in the last month or so. It is still hard to believe that she isn't here anymore. We adopted her as a rescue kitty when she was about 3 weeks old, so she lived with us for a very long time. Just yesterday, I thought of her as I pulled out the vacuum--Oreo was a real scaredy cat about loud noises and never did get used to the vacuum. It will take some time to get used to being a one-cat family.
My scanner isn't hooked up right now, but someday I'll post some older photos to show you how tiny and cute our baby was when she was a kitten.
