So, I haven't posted much knitting news lately. I've been concentrating on some digital scrapbook pages and really haven't felt like knitting. Didn't blog about it, but I started a pair of Jaywalkers a couple of weeks ago. The pattern is fun to knit, but I'm not crazy about the end result. I haven't yet frogged it yet, but probably will sooner or later.

The current challenge on the CIC list is to make as many warm vests and/or sweaters as possible and get them in the mail by November 30. My plan is to make a couple of Marguerite's Cozy in Cables sweaters using some Knitpicks wool yarn.

Since every post needs a photo, here's a shot from last weekend at the Bolsa Chica wetlands. I've started a new lens at Squidoo to highlight the wetlands and track the changes that have been happening. Not much there yet--I just started last night and need to add lots of links and articles.
