Happy Tuesday and hope you have had a nice Independence Day (if you are celebrating, that is). If you aren't celebrating a holiday, hope it was a good day. I have thoroughly enjoyed my 4 days off and wish things could be this way all the time. Sadly, 3 days of salary won't support my many hobbies.

The weekend was very low-key and boring, but that's fine in my book. I did lots of things around the house, worked on some digital scrapbooking and knit a pair of socks for CIC. One of the less fun things I worked was organizing part of my yarn stash. Too much yarn in too many places. I've decided to devote the next couple of months to knitting enough CIC socks to make a serious dent in all this yarn. Since I'm not really "into" knitting right now, I'm finding it easy to stay away from any new purchasing. Same can't be said for digi-scrapping though.

Our two cats are going to have a tough 4th of July. The neighbors have already been lighting up fireworks (all highly illegal in our city) and it's not even dark outside.
