Did you notice the new banner for DonorsChoose? Typepad has a dozen new "Widgets" that can be added to their blogs. The DonorsChoose program was new to me, so I decided to give it a look. Public school teachers submit proposals for fundng their projects and bloggers start challenges to raise the funds. I have chosen three projects to get started and hope you will consider helping meet the goal. One of them is knitting-related, too. Isn't it a sad fact that our schools have to beg for funds to have things like pencils, books and copy paper?
