Look at the lucky photo I took of a hummingbird in the backyard.

I still can't believe that it turned out.

Here I am again, explaining a long absence.  What can I say--I've been lazy, my job was hectic, my computer is still overheating, the dog ate my homework.....

No, we don't have a dog, but all other excuses are good ones.

I have been knitting, though.  A couple of scarves were finished and I have a small vest and seven pairs of socks ready to mail to CIC.  Pictures will be shared at the end of the week when I'm ready to mail.

I have been doing a lot of scanning of photos for a new scrapbooking project. Digital scrapbooking has become my newest project.  If this stupid computer would cooperate, I'd get a lot more done.  Must take it to be repaired soon.  I will be starting a separate blog to show off some of my pages and favorite links.

I leave you now with a favorite from the batch of family photos given to me by aunt.  We have no idea who the mystery couple is, but the picture was too great not to save.
