This afternoon, I was lucky enough to get some fun shots of an American Goldfinch munching on sunflowers seeds right at the source. These plants came up from seeds that fell from the feeder and sprouted. The second photo is a close up of the seed head after the bird flew away.
I almost forgot about posting a picture of the cell phone sock that I finished last weekend. It turned out cute, don't you think? The dark grey yarn doesn't make for a great photo, though. I used an oddball skein of Wildefoot sock yarn.
There hasn't been much going on here to post about. My hand, elbow and shoulder are sore and I haven't knit anything for several days. I may pull out the Fenna shawl to work on while I watch the Lakers start the NBA finals, though. Nervous energy, you know.
I have signed up for two altered book round robins and will be spending more time on artsy things. Those types of activities give my hands a break, too. Look for photos as soon as I get some pages finished.
